Crossing the customs border of Georgia is possible at certain places - checkpoints, during the working hours of the customs authorities. (on weekdays from 09:00 to 18:00, crossing is possible through any designated customs checkpoint, except for the checkpoints "Red Bridge", "Sadakhlo", "Gardabani", "Akhkerpi", "Guguti", "Mtkvari", " Lagodekhi, Samtatskaro, Kazbegi, Vale, Ninotsminda, Tbilisi Airport, Sarpi, Batumi Airport, Kutaisi Airport, Senaki Airport, Batumi Port and Port Poti ", which work within 24 hours.) Crossing the border by goods vehicles at unmarked / other points or crossing the border outside of working hours of the customs authorities is possible upon the provision of a written agreement from the Customs Department.

Crossing the customs border possible at the following border customs checkpoints:

Customs checkpoints "Sarpi", "Port of Batumi", "Airport Batumi" - the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. They are structurally subordinate to the customs administration of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara;
Customs checkpoints "Red Bridge", "Sadakhlo", "Gardabani", "Akhkerpi", "Guguti", "Mtkvari", "Lagodekhi", "Samtatskaro", "Udabno", "Sabatlo", "Vashlovani", "Airport Tbilisi "- the eastern territory of Georgia, mainly on the Georgian-Armenian and Georgian-Azerbaijani borders. They are structurally subordinate to the regional customs "Vostok";
Customs checkpoints "Kazbegi" and "Gori" - the northern territory of Georgia, the Georgian-Russian border. They are structurally subordinate to the regional customs "North";
Customs checkpoints "Vale" and "Ninotsminda" - the southern territory of Georgia, the Georgian-Turkish and Georgian-Armenian borders. They are structurally subordinate to the regional customs "South";

Customs checkpoints “Port of Poti”, “Airport of Kutaisi”, “Airport of Senaki”, “Mamisoni” are the western territory of Georgia. They are structurally subordinate to the regional customs "West";

Customs checkpoints "Gardabani", "Sadakhlo", "Poti" - for railway transport. They are structurally subordinate to the regional customs "Railroad".
